A child’s tale of mimicry

In a quiet town, with a very blue sky,
Curious eyes shine, eager to try.
In the footsteps of her parents, a little girl found her way,
A little copycat, ready to play.
With small strides, she'd follow them near,
Imitating laughter, leaving the fear.
In the kitchen, a chef with joy so true,
Just like Mom and Dad, she'd cook too.
Her eyes sparkled, taking it all in,
Mirroring their actions, a tale to begin.
A canvas of mimicry, a picture of bliss,
She colored her world with a shared, loving kiss.
In the garden of chores, with a can in her hand,
Copying Dad's work, she'd try to understand.
Each little effort, a lesson in delight,
Her imitation brought warmth and light.
Mornings found her in oversized shoes,
Playing grown-up, chasing what she could choose.
A comical sight, laughter in the air,
Her mimicry, a joy beyond compare.
Beyond the chuckles, a deeper story unfolds,
A journey of learning, as the tale unfolds.
In her imitation, love's melody resounds,
A legacy passed, where compassion abounds.
